WBV #4

Weekly Bible Verse

Hiya everyone! We are here again for another WBV so lets start!

A friend loves at all times. He is there to help when trouble comes. Proverbs 17:17

So that sorta goes along with the one we did like 2 weeks ago I believe. I think what it is saying is pretty straight forward. So I know we think “Yeah duh I know that.” But we actually need to live it out like we mean it. We always need to remember this so that bad things like broken friendships don’t happen. Also friends need be able to trust each other and know that they are there to help each other at all times especially when trouble comes.

So feel like I pretty much covered it, but if you guys can think of anything to add please do, I want to here it. 🙂  Anyway that’s all I have for you so c-ya! -Ezra

Music! (What I Love About it How I got started ect.)

text placeholder

Hello everybody! I am super pumped up for this post. It was an idea from another awesome fellow blogger Meredith down at her blog Artsy Arrow, it’s a super cool site! 😀 So what I’m gonna do is list some of my favorite music artist and kinda my story of how I got started with music. Also I’ll put a link to some of my favorite songs. Anyway lets get to it!

My Music Story 🎶

Okay so I have always loved music and I wanted to be a musician when I grew up. I used to play with my brother when I was little like we were musicians he would bang on buckets with pencils and I would grab  some long stick or something and pretend I was playing the guitar. I don’t really remember why I loved music so much when I was little, but I think it was because my uncle was the worship leader at the church I went to and I thought it was awesome!

Anyway after a few years of being obsessed with music (btw my favorite artist was TobyMac) I started to get sorta obsessed with basketball. Because my friends kinda showed me how to play and I got pretty good. I wanted to be in the NBA. Meanwhile my grandpa was giving me bass guitar lessons because he is obsessed with rock and used to be in a rock band. And I liked learning the bass but it wasn’t like a big dream to be a musician.

After many years of being on basketball teams and practicing a lot I was still not as good as most kids my age. And I practiced like 2-3 hours a day. I finally realized it would be to hard to get into the NBA especially because I was so short (and still am). But I think God kinda made me give up on that dream for a reason that reason is music! So after a while I totally started doing more and more practice with music. And at the time I did not have an instrument so I had to use my grandpa’s when I went to his house every week to practice. Him and my siblings and I started a little band. He played guitar, I played bass, my sister played keys, and my brother played drums. My grandpa is such a musician, he can play like every rock instrument so he taught all of us.

So after like a year and a half of playing the bass I decided I wanted to learn guitar but I would still play bass for the band. So I didn’t have a guitar but my brother wanted an electric drum-set and I wanted a guitar. Luckily I actually had like $400 because my dad wanted me to save until I could find something to invest in so I had saved for like 3-4 years. So I was able to buy a guitar and drum-set! This was like exactly a year ago. So I started to kinda teach myself to play guitar from YouTube and stuff like that. After a while I got pretty good. My band with my siblings and grandpa is still alive, and we practice every week. We’ve had about like 2 concerts and we will have 1 or 2 this year. Also my siblings and I played for a bunch of people once when my grandpa wasn’t there. I have even done some singing in various concerts. It’s awesome! Also my brother and I write songs together and play them together quite a bit.

Also I forgot to mention I taught myself a little drums, but I’m not near as good as my brother (he’s like really good, plus he’s only 11)! Anyway also at the beginning of this school year I started doing a music class where I was learning baritone. But that got really boring for me (I am made to rock)🎸so I quit. And that just about wraps up my music story.

My Favorite Music Artists!

That about sums up my favorites!

Some great songs!

Those are just a few of my favorite songs! 😀

Anyhow that was super fun! I hope you liked it! 😀 I’ll c-ya later! -Ezra

I’m Stuck I Need Some Ideas

Fresh Ideas

Okay sorry I know I kinda do this a lot, sorry but I need some ideas for posts (I am not at all creative). So anyway yeah I just need some ideas again. Since this blog was going through some changes I’m kinda just settling into the new version of this blog. I’m not really used to posting about whatever I want so it’s kinda hard to think of just one thing, if you know what I mean.

Also let me know if you want to do like any kinda collab because I am very much up for that! 😀 Anyway again sorry for eating your brains full of ideas XD, this might be kinda hard for you guys. It’s totally fine if you can’t think of anything right off the bat, I totally get you but I might just have to try to be creative. Anyhow that’s why I’ve kinda not been posting as much lately simply because I can’t think of anything to post about! 😀

Anyway this was just a super short post because I’m just asking for ideas. C-ya! -Ezra

P.S. Also if any of you have started doing some genealogy research let me know if you need help or if you’ve figured out anything cool. 😀

Happy Easter!! He is Risen!!

pexels-photo-953057.jpeg

Happy Easter everyone!! Jesus is Risen!! Just wanted to have a shout-out for Jesus!!! Here is a Easter passage from the bible (NASB):

Jesus Is Risen!

28 Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave. And behold, a severe earthquake had occurred, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it. And his appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. The guards shook for fear of him and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, “[a]Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying. Go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead; and behold, He is going ahead of you into Galilee, there you will see Him; behold, I have told you.”

And they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy and ran to report it to His disciples. And behold, Jesus met them [b]and greeted them. And they came up and took hold of His feet and worshiped Him. 10 Then Jesus *said to them, [c]Do not be afraid; go and take word to My brethren to leave for Galilee, and there they will see Me.”

11 Now while they were on their way, some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all that had happened. 12 And when they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, 13 and said, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we were asleep.’ 14 And if this should come to the governor’s ears, we will win him over and [d]keep you out of trouble.” 15 And they took the money and did as they had been instructed; and this story was widely spread among the Jews, and is to this day.

Genealogy: Staying Organized

Hello friends!! Its is Kaelyn here from Kaelyn’s Life here to do my April POST!! SO YEAH!!

I have been meaning to do this sooner but I have been busy with school and my family went to the zoo yesterday, which was really fun,but it did not really give any time to write a post.

I got all of my resources for this post from the Genealogy Website section: Developing Your Research.

In the section, Staying Organized.

Number one thing in staying organized in your research, is your location.

Where you locate your research, from if it is on a computer, binder, notebook, notecards, wherever, you need to keep it in a place you will remember where you keep it. Keeping you research in a shoe box on the floor is not the best idea. They recommend using binders because they are easy to transport and keep in a safe place.

SECOND: Order.

The order that you keep your notes in is important. The most popular way to do so is alphabetically or by last names.

They also said you can categorize sections by topics. For example, wills in one section and photos in another.

THIRD: Genealogy Software.

This can help you organize a family tree easily and quickly, and make it clear to read.

Again, I got all of this information at www.genealogy.com

That is all I have for this month!!

In May, I will be doing my Bible Verse Dissect!!! Do you all have any suggestions? If you do, please do so in the comments! I hope this was helpful, if you are studying genealogy.

I hope you all enjoyed this month’s post!! SEE YOU IN MAY!!

WBV #3

Weekly Bible Verse

Hey everyone! I am so sorry that I am a day late but I was soo busy yesterday so I have to do it today. So anyhow here goes:

Those who talk a lot are likely to sin. But those who control their tongues are wise. Proverbs 10:19 NIRV

So that is pretty obviously just saying that you need to think before you speak. And there are many many reasons that you don’t want say something stupid, you could hurt someone’s feelings, you could ruin a friendship, there are plenty of reasons why something bad could happen if you don’t think before you speak. But it also says if you control your tongue than you are wise and that’s obviously really good, it says many times throughout Proverbs that wisdom is better than gold or rubies. So I think it is really important that we think before we speak and I also think that wisdom is so important.

Anyways that pretty much wraps it up, if you have any questions or would like to add anything to what I said that would be great! It’s kinda funny that I keep finding these verses in Proverbs, I’m not even reading Proverbs. Anyway bye everybody c-ya later. -Ezra

Update: Mission Trip!

Please help Ariana get to go, it is so important!

Ariana's Archives

Ariana's Flying LIfe

Hello! Here’s the thing, I stink at the schedule. Haha! So, here I am posting.

The Mission Trip Itself.png

My school, Veritas Press, is an online school. Even though that is the case they do mission trips. They are going to Washington DC. This will be my first mission trip.

My Mom is very excited. She doesn’t know if she will go with me to Washington DC and be there (not with me in the mission trip itself) but near or if she will stay where we live. But, either way, it’s my first mission trip! I would miss my Mother. :/

My Dad said I need to raise some money. I am totally fine with that. The trip is 2,000 dollars. I am sending out letters to people I hope to help donate.

This is the beginning of the letter (I am not sending you the last part because it displays how to…

Medieval Fair

Hello everyone! Like I said last week I have had some really neat experiences lately and one is about something called the Medieval Fair.

So the Medieval Fair is a fair that happens every year in April where I live. It is so fun! So what happens is everyone in town goes and dresses up like a medieval person (knight, pirate, viking, gypsy, etc). Then there are vendors and the vendors sell anything that has to do with medieval. So sometimes people buy something that can go for their costume and use it the next year. Also there are food vendors (there is some amazing root beer). So it lasts like 3 days going through the weekend and I always look forward to it every year.

This year I went with some friends of mine like I usually do. I was dressed as a pirate called Captain No Beard ;). We first went to this sunken pirate ship, it was pretty cool, plus it was free. Then we went to a weapon shop where my brother Jesse got a wooden crossbow. We also bumped into some friends of ours from church. Then we went to get some turkey legs they are so good. After that we went to get some root beer. Then we looked around at some cool vendors while I was looking for a pirate vest. Later my brother and my dad threw some knives at a wall. Oh I almost forgot, we tried to raid the king of his gold but he wasn’t there only this lady who says she was the general and we pointed our weapons at her and demanded the gold. Then she called guards but they didn’t hear her and I started to attack her but she broke my ax with her cane XD. Then finally a guard came and told us not to approach the general with our weapons so we backed down. We should have attacked him because he wasn’t even armed but we didn’t. That was fun. After that we went to another vendor called the weapon shack and bought some weapons. I decided to get some weapons instead of a vest because I could not find one cheap. Trust me everything there is so expensive. So I got a pirate sword and some daggers which was a good upgrade since my ax was broken 😂.

That’s pretty much all that happened but it was a blat it always is! Anyway c-ya later! -Ezra

P.S. Oh one quick shout-out for my sister who has started blogging again but for a new blog (not Adorable Cats and Other Animals) so plz check out  her blog.

WBV #2

Weekly Bible Verse

This is my second WBV because I was on a break and before that I forgot. Also I was busy doing testing so I couldn’t get to this earlier today. But we’re doing it now so lets get to it!!

Those who erase a sin by forgiving it show love. But those who talk about it come  between close friends.     Proverbs 17:9

I think that is super important because sometimes if someone doesn’t forgive us for something we did wrong then we feel sad because we think they don’t want to be our friend or something like that. So if they forgive us then we feel very loved. And if we forgive someone for doing something wrong they feel loved and they know we don’t judge them. Also it is not if we talk about something someone did wrong that’s basically saying we don’t really forgive them. Because if we forgive someone that means that we don’t judge them and we aren’t mad at them for what they did. But if we go on talking about it then that means we don’t really forgive them we just said we do. Also if we keep talking about it, it makes the other person keep feeling guilt even know they shouldn’t because they already repented and said they were sorry and were already forgiven.

So that’s all I have to say but is there anything you want to add on that really sticks out to you or you think is super important in this? Let me know in the comments! 😀 Bye! -Ezra
