Drawing Still Open for Entering

Hey everyone! I just wanted to quickly say that the drawing is still open for entering. I was going to make just al of yesterday but there were only 2 people to enter so I decided to have it open the whole time I’m at camp (I leave tomorrow). So that way it will give you time to enter and me time after camp to make the winner’s graphics! So yeah here is the post about the drawing if you don’t what I’m even talking about. But yeah I leave tomorrow so you have all week to enter and I will put your names in and draw when I get back! 😀

Thanks For 50+ Followers!

Mind blown (I would do a cool emoji for that but my new computer doesn’t have emojis 😦 )! So I’m actually currently at 56 followers total but I’ve been too busy to make this post recently, it’s been in my drafts for a while.

I’ve been blogging for almost a year and a half now and if you told me when I first started this blog that I would get 50+ followers I would not believe you! This is amazing!

Hmm… Winter! Because I love Christmas, I’d rather be hot then cold, Spring makes me sick because of cottonwood pollen, also my birthday is in early March so I think that’s still winter. Oh and fall is at the beginning of the school year, so no fun…

4. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pizza! I don’t know if that actually counts because technically it’s more than one food mixed.

5. What’s the number one item you would save from your burning house?

♪ My guitar! I know that sounds kinda weird since it’s not life supporting but it’s my most prized possession!

Other people laughing! Even when I don’t know what other people are laughing about I still laugh with; laughs are contagious!

I’m Still Here!

Hey friends! You probably didn’t think you would here from me today! Yeah I’m like so sorry about the amount of time I’ve been spending on blogging lately.

I really love to look at you fellow blogger’s blogs, I just don’t really have the time/wifi. So I have not given up on you guys yet. I am still here! Sadly I am having to do summer school that I didn’t think I would have to do but I do. So that takes up some time. Also my dad is working on getting a new part-time job online so he has to use our only good computer pretty often. Gladly the internet has actually been doing better lately! Good news (which you might already know): So in a few weeks I will have my own laptop to use for blogging, which will be super helpful! So yeah I will be able to do way more blogging then and it will be epic!!! I really miss blogging and having this awesome community, and I can’t wait to get back to it as a every-day thing. So that’s pretty much all for that.

I’d like to tell you what I’ve been doing lately. So I’ve been to 3 concerts this summer which have all been awesome! Let’s see… I have been doing school 😦 … Oh my Impact Trip (which you already heard about) was amazing! Next week is Youth Camp! I so can’t wait! Last year was so epic!

So yeah I kinda wanted to give you an update and let you know I haven’t abandoned you yet! 😉 Later!

Bible Verse Dissect: Psalms 91: 3-4

This is Kaelyn here, author of the blog Kaelyn’s Life, and I am here for my monthly post!! AND IT IS JULY NOW, FRIENDS!!! AWW!! SUMMER IS LIKE GOING TOO FAST!!!

Although I still have some summer left and I hope you all do to before school hits!! 🙂 This month I am here to do a BIBLE VERSE DISSECT!! You may or may not remember but last Bible Verse Dissect we went into Psalms 91: 1-2, such amazing Bible verses by the way, and I just wanted to continue using that chapter of the Bible for this month’s dissect. 🙂

Last time, I also remembered using the Passion Translation which I am going to use today. I will probably switch up which translation I use in the future to add some variety to our dissects. 🙂

Psalms 91: 3-4 ( Passion Translation)

He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy,^[d]
and he will protect you from false accusation
and any deadly curse.^[e]
4 His massive arms^[f] are wrapped around you, protecting you.
You can run under his covering of majesty and hide.

It says God is here to rescue you from every trip of the enemy and he will protect you from lies and curses.

One of the reasons I love the Passion Translation when I reading through, Psalms and Proverbs especially, it really says it very clearly which I like.

God’s massive arms are wrapped around you, He is protecting you, and you can run under his protection of majesty and you can hide and be safe.

How amazing is that picture in your mind? Just being in the embrace of a heavenly Father, God, he really is wrapping you in his loving hug.

So today let this be an encouragement to you , whether you are in a season with trials or if you are in a season of a steadiness, God is holding you, right now and is protecting you, because YOU are his child of God. You are God’s son and prince. You are God’s daughter and princess. He is holding you.

WBV3 #12-14

Hello friends! Yes you heard right! I am going to be doing 3 WBVs in 1! So because of the many missed weeks I am going to do 3 in 1! Let’s do it!

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young. Set an example for the believers in what you say and in how you live. Also set an example in how you love and in what you believe. Show the believers how to be pure. 1 Timothy 4:12

So awesome!!! I know most of you guys are young. So this really goes for us! I remembered this verse a lot when I was on the Impact Trip because there were like 2 adults and about 17 teens and pre-teens. So yeah during the trip I really tried to set an example for all the people I evangelized for and many other people during he trip. No matter how old you are you can make big choices. God created you to glorify him and you can set an example of that to people around you. You can show them how to be pure. Speak purely, live purely, love purely and believe purely. This is just such a good verse!

So let us do all we can to live in peace. And let us work hard to build each other up. Romans 14:19

Wow! This is saying to live in peace. Peace is something God gives us. In the chaos God calms us and gives us peace. We need to receive his peace instead of just being angry about the chaos. Paul also says “let us work hard to build each other up.” I’m telling you guys I had to remember this verse during the impact trip too! We all used our own gifts to help each other. We also made sure to speak life into each other instead negative stuff. We made sure to speak to build each other up, instead of speaking to tear each other down.

But those who have doubts are guilty if they eat. Their eating is not based on faith. Everything that is not based on faith is sin. Romans 14:23

😧 I did not know this. I was reading in Romans the other day on the impact trip and I saw this, I’m like what? That means I sin way more than I thought I did. Guys everything that is not based on faith is sin. Boy am I glad Jesus died on the cross for me. But after I thought about this it made more sense actually. If you are a believer then like everything you do is based on faith because that is why you live. You live because God made you for a purpose to glorify him. You eat without doubt, if you are a believer you do everything based on faith. If you believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sin you eat without doubt. You eat because you know your body is God’s temple you keep it alive from food! You do this because you know that you have a purpose and so that is why you eat. You eat to glorify God. I’m not joking. Food helps you live and you live to glorify him. So technically you eating is based on faith.

 

I don’t know if that last one made sense to you guys. I’m not very good at explaining things on a blog post but I don’t want it to be misinterpreted. Anyway those are all I have for today. once again if you have any comments or anything to add please do so in the comments below! Bye! -Ezra
